Tool kits ruin a great game

Racing is super fun and addictive. Racking up wins and credits, collecting cars, and tuning them to max is also what keeps me playing. But tokens and tool kits are tedious and annoying. The R&D labs are also fun but rigged. It would be so easy to fix this game so it was only great, instead of half great, half awful.
